Why Functional Testing Matters?

When it comes to achieving better health, testing removes the guesswork. Instead of chasing symptoms, functional testing provides a clear picture of what’s happening inside the body, helping to identify imbalances that contribute to digestive issues, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, brain and neuro based challenges, and much more.

Offering a range of comprehensive tests, I help uncover the root causes of symptoms and provide a targeted, personalized plan to healing.

Some of the tests that I use...

GI-MAP (Comprehensive Stool Test)

The GI-MAP analyzes your gut microbiome, detecting parasites, bacteria, yeast overgrowth, and markers of digestion, inflammation, and leaky gut. Poor gut health is often linked to symptoms like bloating, food sensitivities, brain fog, mood imbalances, and even autoimmune conditions.

MRT (Mediator Release Test for Food Sensitivities)

The MRT blood test identifies hidden food sensitivities that may be triggering inflammation, gut issues, and neurological symptoms. Unlike traditional allergy tests, MRT measures the body’s inflammatory response to foods and chemicals, making it a powerful tool for addressing digestive distress, headaches, skin issues, and more

Organic Acids Test (OATs Test)

This urine test provides insight into metabolic function, gut health, neurotransmitter balance, and nutrient deficiencies. It helps identify candida overgrowth, oxidative stress, and imbalances that can contribute to fatigue, anxiety, ADHD, and other chronic symptoms.

Comprehensive Blood Work

A deep dive into key health markers, including nutrient status, inflammation levels, blood sugar balance, liver and kidney function, and more. Standard blood tests often miss subtle imbalances, but a functional approach helps uncover early signs of dysfunction before they become bigger issues.

Hormone Testing (DUTCH Test or Saliva Testing)

Hormonal imbalances can impact energy, mood, sleep, weight, and stress response. I use advanced hormone tests to assess cortisol patterns, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and more, helping to uncover adrenal fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, or imbalances related to PMS, perimenopause, and stress.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

This test measures essential minerals and toxic heavy metals that affect metabolic function, brain health, and detoxification. It provides insight into nutrient deficiencies, adrenal function, and overall mineral balance, which is critical for energy production and neurological function.

And More…

Depending on your unique health history and symptoms, I may recommend additional specialized testing to get a complete picture of what’s going on in your body.
